I saw a reflection of the disparity of values engendered by the Black Lives Matter resurgence. I drove downtown with my camera, something I hadn’t done in months, stopping first at the store, “How Sweet It Was”and then on to Stone Avenue to see the Black Lives Matter mural painted on the street. I felt a positive calm and a resilient faith in a more perfect future.
Vi un reflejo de la disparidad de valores engendrada por el resurgimiento del movimiento Black Lives Matter (Las Vidas Negras Importan). Fui en auto al centro con mi cámara, algo que no había hecho en meses, parando primero en la tienda “How Sweet It Was”, y luego en la Avenida Stone para ver el mural Black Lives Matter pintado en la calle. Sentí una calma positiva y una fe inquebrantable en un futuro más perfecto.
