I went to The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and won many awards. I recently was in the New York Times. Part of my profits go to homeless youth in Tucson and Chicago. I’ve been an activist for 25 years. After a serious diagnosis, I could no longer do social activism and organizing. I started to make Art Activism. I haven’t been out of my home since March, because of COVID and having a compromised immune system. This piece shows the pain, death, isolation, and sorrow. The violin represents hope, as people are using music as away to connect.

Empecé a hacer activismo artístico.
