I created this series during the Covid-19 quarantine. This work points to the connection between the objectification of the feminine and the destruction of the planet and our cultures through over-consumption. Over-consumption is the ultimate objectification of the environment and the devaluation and objectification of the feminine in general. Will humans take this virus as Mother Nature’s distress signal, or will we continue to devalue her, destroying hope of a renewable future? Let’s heal the destruction of the feminine and rebalance our relationship with ourselves, each other, and the land.
Creé esta serie durante la cuarentena de la covid-19. Este trabajo apunta a la conexión entre la objetivación de lo femenino y la destrucción del planeta y nuestras culturas por el consumo excesivo. El consumo excesivo es la objetivación final del medio ambiente y la devaluación y objetivación de lo femenino en general. ¿Entenderán los humanos este virus como una llamada de socorro de la Madre Naturaleza, o continuaremos devaluándola, destruyendo la esperanza de un futuro renovable? Sanemos la destrucción de lo femenino y reequilibremos nuestra relación con nosotros mismas, con los demás y con la tierra.
