While volunteering at the Center for Creative Photography, I had seen this outdoor exhibit several times. A friend from out of town wanted to go to the book store, after seeing the LIGHT exhibit at CCP. The time of day and the lighting were perfect. I spent 40 minutes on one rotation all the way around this sculpture, letting it present itself. This image shows the golden light in palm trees against a university building, with all its hope and opportunity —Blocked.
Mientras trabajaba como voluntario en el Centro de Fotografía Creativa (CCP), había visto esta exhibición al aire libre varias veces. Un amigo de fuera quería ir a la librería después de ver la exhibición LIGHT en el CCP. La hora del día y la iluminación eran perfectas. Pasé 40 minutos alrededor de esta escultura, dejando que se presentara. Esta imagen muestra la luz dorada en palmeras contra un edificio universitario, con toda su esperanza y oportunidad – Bloqueada.
