This image was taken in Tucson during the month of July, 2020. What impressed me about Tucson is its commitment to public art and its use of public art to promote important contemporary issues. This year of the pandemic there were several prominent themes: we are together in our fight against the pandemic and we are together in our consciousness of racial inequality. Thus I have chosen to highlight both of these themes with my photography. This vintage store near 4th Avenue paints its window with Black Lives Matter. If I could continue with this recognition of Tucson’s advocacy, I would record the gratitude of its public to its first responders.

Si pudiera continuar con este reconocimiento de la defensa de Tucson, dejaría constancia de la gratitud de la comunidad a los cuerpos de emergencia.
