My response to Covid has literally turned my work inside out. After years of making black marks on white paper, I now make white marks on black paper. Some of those marks are bold and scratch through the surface of my substrate. With each action, I am forced to expand a new version of self.
Mi respuesta al Covid ha volteado mi trabajo. Después de años de hacer marcas negras en papel blanco, ahora hago marcas blancas en papel negro. Algunas de esas marcas son llamativas y alteran mi esencia. Con cada acción, me veo obligada a expandir una nueva versión de mí misma.
